This is my favourite place in the world I think. Friseboda beach in the south east of Sweden. The sea and the beach is just awesome almost any time of the year.

travelers stories about Pier in Borgholm, Sweden

Pier in Borgholm, Sweden

113 km from Ronneby Brunn Park Café & Restaurant

The very first bathhouse in Borgholms harbor was built in 1865 in the eastern part of the harbor and was a combined hot and cold bathhouse. A cold bathhouse in the western part of the harbor was only clear in 1882, in the same place where the current cold bathhouse stands. The building was constructed according to drawings by engineer John Löfmark, Kalmar. It was devastated by a storm in February 1934, but was rebuilt the same year, in a smaller size, ready to open for midsummer. This is still the same structure today, and has to be experienced if you visit the island of Öland.

Natural arch in Brahehus, Sweden

This picture was taken when I was heading back home from a mini vacation. While driving I saw this gigantic ruin that used to be a castle. First things first, I parked my car and went down and I believe I took a total of 5 photos. This was one of them! Sometimes that’s all you need!
